NEO single "Venus Quake" για τους KILLIGION!
ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ ΑΠΟ ΤΗ ΜΠΑΝΤΑ:
Το Killigion είναι ένα όνομα που αποτελείται από τις λέξεις kill και religion,
νομίζω δεν υπάρχει λόγος να εξηγήσω περισσότερα, η μπάντα προέκυψε από τα υπολείμματα των διαλυμένων Havoc
που το 2007 έφτασαν στο απόγειο και την πτώση τους με το άλμπουμ «Elimination process»
από την American Line και ξεχώρισε στη σειρά του ωμού, βίαιου και άμεσου thrash metal.
Στις αρχές του 2018, προορίζονταν να επαναδραστηριοποιηθούν οι Havoc με ένα δεύτερο άλμπουμ,
αλλά η αποξένωση και η ανενεργή κατάσταση ορισμένων μελών οδήγησε στο δημιουργία αυτού του νέου project.
Για 3 χρόνια δουλέψαμε για να δημιουργήσουμε τον ομώνυμο δίσκο που είδε το φως
στη φυσική μορφή του πριν από την ψηφιακή στο τέλος του πανδημικού 2020, ένα άλμπουμ που αποτελείται
από 10 κομμάτια διαφορετικά μεταξύ τους και που δεν είναι καθόλου βαρετά,
ο ήχος που περιγράφεται στην κριτική του Metal Hammer Portugal στοχεύει σε πινελιές
από σουηδικό death metal και ίχνη από groove metal εμποτισμένο με thrash metal,
στοιχεία που σου μένουν και ξεχωρίζουν.
Νιώθουμε πολύ ικανοποιημένοι με τη δουλειά που επιτεύχθηκε, μουσικά, γραφιστικά
και στιχουργικά, αυτό το έργο αντικατοπτρίζει τις πολιτικές και πολιτισμικές συνθήκες που περνάει η κοινωνία
και μας παρακινεί να παράγουμε νέο υλικό, το πάθος μας
για τη μουσική δεν θα μας άφηνε χωρίς να το κάνουμε, Αν και περνάμε στιγμές κατά τις οποίες
δεν επιτρέπονται οι ζωντανές παρουσιάσεις, μια μορφή άμεσης διάχυσης
που λατρεύει το κοινό που ασχολείται με αυτό το στυλ, μας το επέτρεψε η ψηφιακή τεχνολογία
για να φτάσει με κάποιο τρόπο στους λάτρεις του metal.

Οι GrandeFox είναι ένα σχήμα το οποίο ιδρύθηκε στη Θεσσαλονίκη το 2013 όπου διατηρεί μέχρι και σήμερα την έδρα του.Ιδρυτικά μέλη του σχήματος είναι ο Ζαο Λευτέρης (κιθαρίστας - συνθέτης - visuals) και ο Μπερζαμάνης Νίκος (Frontman - τραγουδιστής - στιχουργός). Το ρόλο του drummer έχει κατοχυρώσει ο Δημήτρης Λουκάς όπως επίσης και το ρόλο του μπασίστα ο Γιώργος Χάικας

Το συγκρότημα έχει συμμετάσχει σε διάφορα live shows και φεστιβάλ σε Ελλάδα και εξωτερικό και έχει συνευρεθεί με πολλά σημαντικά σχήματα του χώρου . Μερικά από αυτά είναι : Nightstalker , Emerald Sun , Purple People Eater , Project Theory , Shotgunz κ.α.Η μπάντα επίσης έχει εμφανιστεί live σε αρκετές λέσχες μοτοσυκλετιστών όπως οι Argoriders MCC Hellas και οι ChopperRiders. Icelandic metal act SORG release new album 'Nordandrekar'

Sorg is the brainchild of the Painter, Musician, and philosopher Myrmann. The influence for SORG combines both, a variety of disparate rock and metal genres, and also Myrmanns interest in history, romanticism, Icelandic Folklores, Alchemy, and philosophy. Sorg is a tool for using his voice for to 2 create awareness about spreading love and kill judgement and prejudise in modern Society.
Mýrmann comes from Iceland, small mystical and gloomy Island in the North. His work is heavily influenced by Icelandic Heritage, cultural traditions, the three major elements of the Icelandic nation: The landscape, The rich literature and the old sagas.
“Sorg is not about doing the most and best produced albums, It is about using a voice for something honest and real” - says Mýrmann.
About 'Nordandrekar':
The new album is a 11 song concept album. The story is about dragon riders from the North, they go to a war with an evil tyrant from abroad. They fight the evil with pure hearts and courage! Somehow teaching us the art of war as it should be.
The idea behind the story is that Mýrmann believes that good will always win and believes in a world were everybody can get along and love each other, no matter backgrounds, color, status, gender or believes. He doesn’t believe in hiearchy. “Honestly I think hiearchy and class division is the root of most evil in modern Society.”

Ο Sorg είναι το πνευματικό τέκνο του ζωγράφου, μουσικού και φιλοσόφου Myrmann. Η επιρροή για το SORG συνδυάζει και τα δύο, μια ποικιλία διαφορετικών ειδών ροκ και μέταλ, καθώς και το ενδιαφέρον των Μίρμαν για την ιστορία, τον ρομαντισμό, την ισλανδική λαογραφία, την αλχημεία και τη φιλοσοφία. Ο Sorg είναι ένα εργαλείο για τη χρήση της φωνής του για να δημιουργήσει συνειδητοποίηση σχετικά με τη διάδοση της αγάπης και να σκοτώσει την κρίση και την προκατάληψη στη σύγχρονη κοινωνία.

Το νέο άλμπουμ είναι ένα concept άλμπουμ 11 τραγουδιών. Η ιστορία είναι για καβαλάρηδες δράκων από το Βορρά, που πάνε σε πόλεμο με έναν κακό τύραννο από το εξωτερικό. Πολεμούν το κακό με καθαρή καρδιά και θάρρος! Κάπως μας διδάσκει την τέχνη του πολέμου όπως θα έπρεπε να είναι.
Η ιδέα πίσω από την ιστορία είναι ότι η Mýrmann πιστεύει ότι το καλό θα κερδίζει πάντα και πιστεύει σε έναν κόσμο όπου όλοι μπορούν να συνεννοηθούν και να αγαπηθούν, ανεξάρτητα από το υπόβαθρο, το χρώμα, την κατάσταση, το φύλο ή τις πεποιθήσεις. Δεν πιστεύει στην ιεραρχία. «Ειλικρινά πιστεύω ότι η ιεραρχία και η ταξική διαίρεση είναι η ρίζα του πιο κακού στη σύγχρονη Κοινωνία».

Symphonic rock act Paraside takes you through a epic journey on new EP
'Chapter I: Dreams, Hopes And Other Obvious Lies' is the newest album from Paraside, the Hungarian / American melodic symphonic rock band.
"I wrote the backing track and Matt came up with the lyrics and the vocal melodies. We all recorded our own tracks in our own home studios and sent them over the Sweden to Stefan Helleblad of Within Temptation to mix and produce them. Once it was done it was sent to Netherland to Masterenzo Mastering for the final master". - says Victor Racz.
"The cover was made by me using AI technology (this is my other hobby). I wanted to create an art that shows the innocent yet lonely girl who is still looking at ballons, but the balloons are ghosts in a destroyed city, representing our own souls and feelings" - says Victor Racz.
"While we all have a kind of weird, sick humour, we still want to write meaningful lyrics that hopefully one day will help someone with it's struggles in life. We mix it with our usual catchy hooks and songs" - says Victor Racz.
Composted by Matt, Vic, Pete and Danny, Paraside brings the love for modern rock, with passion for rock, EDM and musical comedy along with a progressive rock counterpart. 1. What can you say about this new EP/CD? This is our first EP, consisting 3 songs, one radio edition and the instrumental versions of the songs. We tried to talk about our feelings, our fears of the world around us. We teamed up with Stefan Helleblad of Within Temptation to help us to shape our sounds by producing and mixing the songs.
2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name? It's about the hopelessness we feel in these days. The world is rapidly changing with viruses and wars that we never thought will happen just 3 years ago.
3. Which one is the composer of the CD/EP? We all work on the songs, but the music is mainly written by Vic and the lyrics by Matt.
4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick? Vultures of my life
5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD?If there is what it is? We feel like innocent kids wondering around and realize where things are going to, but we still believe there are hope.
6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?
7. Which inspirations have been important for this album ? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank specially? We had some 80s influences for sure, we are the children of the 80s
Vultures is about the people who betrayed us including friends and unfortunately family as well. We all have solid partners who help us through rough patches of our lives and for sure we would like to thank them.8. Something to add? We always believed musicians play music because they can't put their thoughts into words. It's definitely true in our case. We use music to communicate our thoughts, fears and love.

Traditional American Heavy Metal band Corners of Sanctuary (COS) have released their new digital Def Leppard tribute EP titled "Defying." The EP is now available at a multitude of online retailers and streaming platforms including Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, iTunes and Youtube Music via Sonic Velocity Records. "Defying" includes cover versions of "Mirror, Mirror," "Rock of Ages" and a piano-envisioned version of the classic Leppard track, "Bringing on the Heartbreak." “Defying” was mastered by former Metal Blades Records engineer and producer Bill Metoyer (Slayer, Armored Saint).

After releasing the singles 'Epitaph' and 'Blood Of The Titans' , 'Everlasting Horizons' is the third single from Moonshade's sophomore album. The song is now available on all major streaming platforms.
This song was taken from Moonshade's upcoming album 'As We Set the Skies Ablaze', out July 22nd. Album pre-orders are already available at the following link (please include this in your news article if possible).

In the summer of 2021 St. John’s Doom/Punk/Psychedelic band Recorded Slowpoke Live in Argentia with the help of Johnny Rawkhard, Rick Hollett, Glen Tizzard and Rick Tizzard, and Stephany Donahue. Slowpoke Live in Argentia features live performances of “Stony Iommi” and “Slumlord” against the back drop of an abandoned bunker off the Argentia airstrip in Argentia Newfoundland. Moonshade announces New album - "As We Set The Skies Ablaze"

After releasing the singles 'Epitaph' and 'Blood Of The Titans', the band is independently releasing their second album, titled As We Set The Skies Ablaze. The album is to be released in the 22nd of July, 2022. Three more singles are to be expected before release date: Everlasting Horizons ( w/ playthrough video, June 3rd), Artemis (June 24th), and Valley Of Dying Stars (w/ music video, July 14th).

Session drums were performed by Diogo Mota. Artemis and A Treatise Of Human Nature feature lead vocals by Sandra Oliveira (Blame Zeus, Perennial Dawn), who also contributed with back vocals in Valley Of Dying Stars and Everlasting Horizons. The Antagonist features lead vocals by Sofia Beco (Phase Transition).

"We are the sons of he who brought us the light of fire - heirs of the great titan aspiring to godhood. To be human is to know, to love, to hate, to grow, to create, and to destroy.
As a species, we began by worshipping Nature, in order to ravage it in the next breath, endangering the delicate balance of this beautiful Earth, as well as our existence on it. We then imagined new gods and have slowly started to deny them, as omnipotence, omnipresence and omniscience become closer to our collective grasp. On the way, we created autocrats to overthrow them, and increased the odds of world peace via the looming threat of nuclear winter.
Thus, this great turmoil of the technological and cultural evolution of civilizations created the greatest story ever told - the story of Man.
As We Set The Skies Ablaze is a phylosophical analysis concerning this great adventure of being human, poetically approaching all its wonders, horrors, and the greatest challenges we must face in order to become the only Gods that ever really existed.

2021 saw 10,000 Years lay waste to the underground world of heavy music with their debut full length album “II”. Now, barely a year later, they return with the conclusion to their epic trilogy.
Continuing with numbered titles, the new album is called “III” and concludes 10,000 Years conceptual exploration of mindbending sci-fi by way of absolutely facemelting stonermetal that will bring you to your knees in heavy worship.
Says bassist/vocalist Alex Risberg: ““III” feels like a continuation from what we’ve done before, a natural evolution of the sound of the band. We’ve expanded on the things we felt worked best the last time around, like the thrashy High On Fire-stuff and the more epic songstructures, all the while maintaining what this band is all about.”
Recording once again took place in the legendary Studio Sunlight with the equally legendary Tomas Skogsberg manning the controls.
The album will be released on vinyl by underground heavyweights Interstellar Smoke Records with a CD and digital coming from Death Valley Records as well as a limited edition cassette tape from Olde Magick Records.

AMERICAN TERROR, the heavy punk/metal band based out of Atlanta, has revealed a new single, “End Of America,” out now. The track, a wildly fierce takedown of the current state of American politics, is available on Spotify and all major digital platforms, with its accompanying video out now on YouTube. The video recently premiered at KNAC.COM and the feature can be found here. Their sophomore album, “Where We Are”, will be released on July 8th, 2022, with more singles arriving beforehand.
“’End Of America’ represents the state of our country right now,” says vocalist Brad Cox. “No matter what side you’re on or what you believe, everyone’s pissed off and feeling this way. History is being rewritten in so many ways. People are passionate again and willing to fight for what they believe. ‘End Of America’ is the anthem for standing up to bullshit and making a change.”

Influencer was followed up by a hard-hitting, genre-bending remix of “Judgement” featuring legendary rapper Sticky Fingaz (known for his group Onyx’s hit “Slam” & his feature on Eminem‘s The Marshall Mathers LP; also, a 2020 ASCAP songwriter award-winner for his work with Travis Scott). The one-off single “Legend”, a cover of a lost track from classic hip-hop group House of Pain, followed in February 2021. The band then teamed up with world-renowned rapper Krizz Kaliko (a frequent fixture of Tech N9ne’s records and his Strange Music label over the past two decades) to release a remix of their single “She’s A Bitch”. This release was followed by the aggressive, snotty, and uptempo “Attitude”, the first single from their upcoming sophomore album.
AMERICAN TERROR’s releases are engineered, produced, and mixed by vocalist Brad Cox at his Black Paw Studios in Lawrenceville, GA. Brad recently co-wrote, produced, and mixed the Billboard chart hit “Like ‘Em Wild” for rap/country duo Moonshine Bandits and is partners in the publishing company Black Paw Music with legendary producer Mike Clink (Guns N’ Roses, Megadeth, Metallica). The band began as a studio project featuring members of Skid Row (drummer Rob Hammersmith), Sugar Ray (ex-bassist Murphy Karges), Phunk Junkeez (DJ Soulman), and Grayson Manor (singer Brad Cox and guitarist Pat Valley). However, upon receiving highly-enthusiastic feedback from new fans and press outlets, they decided to continue their path forward with touring and multiple releases in mind, leaving Brad, Pat, Rob and fellow Grayson Manor alumnus GK Via to take over those duties.
“The past couple of years have been so crazy and my heart goes out to everyone affected by them,” Cox says. “Everyone felt this in so many different ways. For my mental health, I decided it was time to focus on writing and recording a new album. ‘End Of America’ was the first song to come out of this. After that, the rest of the upcoming album basically wrote itself.“

Nirvana: Δικαστήριο απέρριψε τη μήνυση του «μωρού» από το εξώφυλλο του Nevermind
Ετσι, η μήνυση εναντίον των Nirvana από τον άνδρα που εμφανίστηκε στο εξώφυλλο του άλμπουμ τους «Nevermind» του 1991, όταν ήταν μωρό, απορρίφθηκε. Σύμφωνα με το περιοδικό Spin, ο δικαστής απέρριψε την αίτηση που είχε καταθέσει ο Ελντεν «με άδεια τροποποίησης» τη Δευτέρα 3 Ιανουαρίου. Μάλιστα οι δικηγόροι του έχασαν την προθεσμία για να υποβάλουν ακόμα και ένσταση.
Ο Ελντεν υποστήριξε στην περίπτωσή του ότι είχε πέσει θύμα σεξουαλικής εκμετάλλευσης παιδιών και ότι το εμβληματικό εξώφυλλο του Nevermind ήταν μια εικόνα σεξουαλικής κακοποίησης παιδιών που είχε «παραχθεί και διαφημιστεί εν γνώσει του» από το συγκρότημα.
